New Volunteer Orientation – August 28, 2016

Location: Willow Farm Therapeutic Riding Program
5048 S. U.S. 41 Marquette, MI 49855

The Willow Farm Therapeutic Riding Program provides riding lessons to physically and/or mentally disabled children. The movement, emotional bond, and social environment strengthens the students physically, mentally, and emotionally.

-This orientation is for people who have never volunteered before and would like to get involved-

We are looking for volunteers who can side walk for these riders. You don’t have to be experienced with horses or children with disabilities to volunteer, however attending a New Volunteer Orientation is mandatory as well as being 14 years old.

Orientation includes a PowerPoint presentation, paperwork, and a mock riding class. If you’d like to complete the paperwork before orientation please refer to our website: to complete and bring to orientation with you.

Scheduling will be offered at orientation but you can also look up our
schedule on our website ( and Facebook page to get an idea in advance.

If you have any questions or would like to RSVP for the New Volunteer Orientation please call/text Regan at 906-360-1513 or email:
